Lonely

This weekend was the first time I've felt truly lonely since we've moved here. The surprising part about that is we had a busy weekend.

I'm meeting great people here & starting the beginnings of friendships. But I know it takes time to make those deep connections and I had almost 15 years to build those in TN. I cannot expect that in two months in NV. I think it's normal to feel lonely from time to time when you leave everything you are familiar and comfortable with.

Today was better than yesterday. And I trust tomorrow will be better than today.

To my "old" friends reading this-I miss you. To my new friends-thank you for making me feel welcome and including me.
